Jax’s Superhero Squad
Jax’s Story
Jax Warren was three years old when he began his courageous battle with a rare spinal cancer. He received support and strength from many people, but his go-to was Batman!
He loved all things Batman, and wearing a Batman costume helped him face the ever-changing challenges of surgery and continuous therapies. While the prognosis was grim, he continued to battle for eight months with all the superhero strength he had.
On March 1, 2021, Jax’s last stop before Heaven was Mission Hospital. The staff at Mission went above and beyond to support Jax, Jordan, Bailey, and little sister Landree during this devastating time.
Jax’s life touched many people in our community. In his memory, we want the joy he brought to others to continue.
His Legacy Lives On
Jax’s Superhero Squad brings superhero attire and encouragement to children in the pediatric units at Mission Hospital and AdventHealth. Each package honors Jax’s memory and shares a little of the superhero strength that meant so much to him.
Our hope is simple: to bring smiles, courage, and encouragement to children spending time in the hospital.
